Hello,

I just want to take a few moments to share with you a little about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Did you know that God has a plan and a purpose for you today? The Bible says:

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Another wonderful truth about God is that he loves us.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

God’s love for us is so perfect that it guides his plan and provides wonderful blessings for each of us.

John 10:10b “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

However, often we struggle to recognize the love of God because we are separated from him. This separation from the Lord God is because we have sinned and created that separation between ourselves and God through our sins.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Isaiah 59:1-2 “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities (sins) have made a separation between you and your God.”

However, if you remember God’s plan for you is not for welfare or calamity but for an abundant life. You might ask, if I am a sinner, how can God bless me and offer me an abundant life? Listen to the extent of the Lord’s love for you…

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Isn’t that a wonderful promise? Even in my sin, God’s love has extended hope for an abundant life for you and me. Listen again to the promise found in God’s word.

Romans 6:23 “”For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Through Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, there is hope for us today. We can have a relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord! God has provided this as a means to rebuild the broken relationship with him and eliminate the separation that our sin has caused.

1 Timothy 2:5-6 “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.”

1 Peter 3:8 “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit”

At this point you might be asking, “How does the separation between God and myself get taken away? How can I be reconnected to God?”

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him (Jesus Christ), to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”

Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:13 “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

What amazing promises of God. If I confess my sins and believe that God can save me from those sins, His word says my sins will be forgiven, He will save me, and the separation between us will be gone!

Would you like to make this most important decision of your life? To put your trust in Jesus and begin your new relationship with God now? If so simply say this prayer to receive the Lord as your savior.

I know Lord that I have sinned and am a sinner still in my life. I need you to forgive me of the sins I have committed. Only you have the power to forgive me of my sins and deliver restoration of my life with you. Please come into my life and become Lord to me. I place my full trust in you and your word to me. I will follow you as my Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
